Mr. Nikles is a member of the firm's Construction Law Practice Group.

Professional Qualifications

Mr. Nikles has extensive experience representing private and public owners and contractors on large, complex, and high-profile construction projects throughout California and the United States. His experience encompasses a wide array of construction-industry matters, including project finance, selection of project delivery methods, contract drafting, contract administration, project monitoring, scheduling and delay issues, cost overruns, work out of troubled projects, claims management and resolution, mediations, arbitrations and trials.

Mr. Nikles is the chair  (2011-2013) of Division 4 of the American Bar Association Forum on the Construction Industry (Project Delivery Systems). He is a past chair of the Legal Advisory Committee of the Associated General Contractors of California and is a current member of the AGC legislative review committee. Mr. Nikles is a frequent author and lecturer on construction law matters. He is currently the editor of a Construction Forum publication on all aspects of construction defect law.
