Mr. Zieff is co-chair of the firm's Complex Commercial
Litigation Practice Group.
Professional Qualifications
For more than twenty-five years, Mr. Zieff has represented plaintiffs and defendants in a broad
range of complex business disputes in trial and
appellate courts, before administrative agencies,
and in arbitrations and other Alternative Dispute
Resolution (ADR) proceedings.
Mr. Zieff’s practice embraces individual
lawsuits as well as class action proceedings in
state and federal court. He has litigated contract,
business tort and statutory claims arising in
a wide variety of industries and commercial settings,
including claims for unfair competition, false
advertising, securities fraud, insurance bad faith,
professional negligence, environmental contamination
and real estate fraud. His clients include educational
institutions, venture capital fund managers, advertising
agencies, financial institutions, wineries, real
estate developers and manufacturing firms, as
well as individual officers, directors and principals.
