Professional Qualifications
Ms. Bernardo has broad experience representing government entities and Fortune 500 companies, before state and federal courts and agencies. Before joining Rogers Joseph O’Donnell, Ms. Bernardo was a litigation associate at her former firm, where she gained valuable experience drafting motions and pleadings, as well as negotiating and mediating settlements. She is also well versed in advising and counseling employers on matters of compliance with state and federal statutes.
Ms. Bernardo graduated summa cum laude from Eastern Kentucky University and earned her J.D. from William & Mary Law School. She served as a Notes Editor for William & Mary’s Business Law Review, vol. 12, where she also earned a spot on the law school’s National Trial Team. In 2019, Ms. Bernardo was an Annual Academy of Trial Lawyers Mock Trial Tournament Champion. She was a member of the Women’s Law Society, and an assistant coach for the College of William & Mary Mock Trial Team.
