3 Rogers Joseph O’Donnell Attorneys Named to 2025 Legal 500 US City Elite for San Francisco
Rogers Joseph O’Donnell shareholders Merri A. Baldwin, Mark J. Linderman and Sharon O. Rossi have been recognized in the inaugural edition of the Legal 500 Elite City Focus: San Francisco. All three were recognized for their work in commercial disputes.
The Legal 500 US Elite highlights lawyers performing at the top of the legal market in their respective cities. Researchers interview leading practitioners, review peer feedback and assess standout matters from the past year as part of the selection process.
Baldwin represents both plaintiffs and defendants in complex business disputes, including claims of breach of contract, fraud, and partnership disputes. As chair of RJO’s Attorney Liability Conduct Practice Group, a significant portion of Baldwin’s practice involves handling attorney liability and conduct issues, particularly claims of legal malpractice, breach of fiduciary duty, attorney sanctions and motions to disqualify. She is a certified specialist in legal malpractice law by the California Board of Legal Specialization.
Linderman co-chairs the firm’s Government Contracts Practice Group and has extensive experience in federal, state and local procurement matters. He represents clients in contract negotiations, preparing and negotiating contract claims, bid protests, contract terminations, civil and criminal fraud investigations, litigation, and arbitration. Linderman’s clients range from leading high-tech, energy, health care and defense contractors to multinational engineering and construction firms.
Rossi is a member of RJO’s Labor & Employment and Complex Commercial Litigation Practice Groups. She advises employers, large and small, on a wide array of matters, including terminations, harassment complaints, and wage and hour compliance. In addition, Rossi defends complex cases in state and federal courts, with emphasis on class and representative actions, including Private Attorneys’ General Act (PAGA) claims. She has experience handling all aspects of litigation from inception through trial, as well as appeals.
