Henry Stegner Receives Outstanding Volunteer in Public Service Award from BASF Justice & Diversity Center
Rogers Joseph O’Donnell P.C. associate Henry D. Stegner received an Outstanding Volunteer in Public Service award from the Justice & Diversity Center (JDC) of the Bar Association of San Francisco on March 6.
Stegner was honored by the JDC for volunteering his time as a mock trial coach for George Washington High School. He coached the team with Carly Bittman, attorney for Swanson McNamara and social studies teacher Mariah Rigsby. The trio devoted hundreds of hours to preparing students for their first-ever mock trial competition.
Since 1977, the JDC has served the San Francisco community by providing free legal services to low-income San Franciscans and the nonprofit organizations that serve them. It is one of the largest and most distinguished legal associations in San Francisco.
Stegner is a member of the firm’s Construction, White Collar Criminal Defense and Government Contracts Practice Groups and serves on the firm’s pro bono committee.
