Lisa Himes to Attend Joint NDIA/AIA Fall Industrial Security Conference
Rogers Joseph O’Donnell PC Of Counsel Lisa N. Himes will attend the Joint NDIA/AIA Fall Industrial Security Conference on Oct. 21 in Washington, D.C.
The bi-annual conference serves as a key forum for executive-level security leadership and policymakers across federal agencies and industry to address major government security topics. The event will offer expert panels and presentations on:
- Continuing security clearance reforms and implementation
- Insider threat guidance
- Transitioning cybersecurity requirements and policy
- Sharing knowledge of “the business” of security
- Late-breaking special security and NISPOM issues, and more
Himes focuses her practice primarily on government contracts matters. She has more than 25 years of experience litigating and consulting involving a wide range of matters. She specializes in cyber and industrial security matters, particularly those involving Foreign Ownership, Control or Influence (FOCI) issues. Himes also has significant experience asserting federal doctrines and defenses, such as federal officer removal, the political question doctrine, combatant activities preemption, derivative sovereign immunity, and the government contractor defense.
