Aaron Silberman to Present Construction Law Update at California Lawyers Association Event
Rogers Joseph O’Donnell PC Construction practice group co-chair Aaron P. Silberman will present federal construction developments in 2024 as part of the Construction Law Update for the California Lawyers Association on December 4 in Los Angeles, California.
Joining Silberman will be John Carpenter, executive vice president and general counsel for Shimmick Corporation, Xenia Tashlitsky, construction attorney with Fennemore, and Missy Griffin, senior associate at Gibbs Giden Locher Turner Senet & Wittbrodt. Panelists will address new case law and recent statutory revisions. They will also provide a year-in-review for notable substantive and procedural changes in California construction law throughout 2024.

Silberman focuses his practice on construction and government contracts law, including litigation, representing contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and design professionals in the construction, defense, transportation, technology, disaster relief, telecom and service industries. Practicing since 1992, he is the former chair of the Forum on Construction Law’s Subcontractors and Suppliers Division and its Publications Committee and previously served on its Governing Committee. Silberman spoke on federal construction contracts at the 2023 Fall Meeting. He is currently editing and co-authoring a chapter in the upcoming Forum book, “False Claims in Construction (2d ed.)”.
