Bob Metzger To Discuss Cybersecurity and Government Innovation for George Mason University Webinar
RJO Cybersecurity and Privacy practice group chair Robert Metzger will address how federal agencies can acquire new technologies and ensure cybersecurity compliance without stifling innovation in an upcoming webinar. Hosted by George Mason University’s Greg and Camille Baroni Center for Government Contracting, the webinar will take place on April 26 at 1:00 p.m. EST.
Metzger will be joined by panel moderator Richard Beutel, a Baroni Center senior fellow and founder of Cyrrus Analytics. Steve Kovac, the head of compliance at ZScaler, David Mullis, assistant chief counsel of the Office of Advocacy for the Small Business Administration, and Grant Schneider, presently at Venable and formerly the federal Chief Information Security Officer, will round out the panel.
The webinar will include an overview of the Department of Defense’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) framework, as well as the need for cybersecurity harmonization, especially in AI, and its impact on federal agencies, small businesses, FedRAMP and the Department of Defense baseline security (SRG) process.
