Bob Metzger to Lead Panel on Industrial Base Security at ComDef 2023
RJO’s Bob Metzger will lead a panel on national security issues on October 25, 2023, at ComDef 2023. This conference, the 55th in the long-running Common Defense Conference series, will take place at Boeing Company offices in Arlington, Virginia.
This year’s ComDef theme is “Forging Indo-Pacific Partnerships,” with Japan as the featured country. Featured speakers include senior officials from the U.S. government (including the U.S. Departments of Defense and Commerce) and representatives of foreign governments (including Japan, the United Kingdom, Australia, Norway, and the Netherlands). They also include prominent aerospace and defense corporate executives.
Bob will lead the discussion “Expanding Industrial Base Security and Resilience,” which covers rising and changing threats affecting the U.S. military and the security posture of allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific Theater. Bob and his co-panelists will specifically talk about threats and response strategies relevant to Japan. Joining Bob on this panel are The Cyber AB CEO Matthew Travis and Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) senior director Mark Montgomery.
