Rogers Joseph O’Donnell P.C. shareholder Amy L. Bomse presented on ethical issues for privacy and data security professionals for the Practising Law Institute’s 25th Annual Institute on Privacy and Cybersecurity Law on May 7.
During her presentation, Bomse discussed the new ethical obligations created by advancements in technology, including artificial intelligence. She also discussed the ethical framework for responding to data breaches and cybersecurity incidents. In addition, Bomse provided guidance to attendees on ethical duties for inadvertent production and the obligations of in-house and external counsel to organizations.
