Jules Szanton to Co-Present an Introduction to Government Contract Claims at ABA Public Contract Law Section Event

Rogers Joseph O’Donnell PC associate Jules L. Szanton will co-present an introduction to government contract claims at an American Bar Association (ABA) Public Contract Law Section event on July 16 at 3:00 p.m. ET.

The presentation, “Claims 101: An Introduction to Government Contract Claims and Litigation of Government Contracts Appeals Before Boards of Contract Appeals and the Court of Federal Claims,” will provide an overview of Contract Disputes Act litigation and discuss examples of common disputes between contractors and the government. The panel will explore the lifecycle of a contract dispute from an initial request for equitable adjustment to litigation at the Boards of Contract Appeals or Court of Federal Claims.

Szanton will be joined by Kelsi Pilcher, government contracts attorney for the U.S. Air Force; Elissa Harwood, associate at Miller & Chevalier; and MAJ Josh Reyes, trial attorney for the U.S. Army. Evan Sherwood, partner at Dentons, will moderate the presentation.
