Jury Trial Win by RJO Shareholder Amy Bomse Honored As a Top Verdict of 2019

In November 2019, accompanied by attorneys from Arnold & Porter, RJO shareholder Amy Bomse secured a $2.3 million jury verdict on behalf of client Planned Parenthood. The action, Planned Parenthood v. Center for Medical Progress, was tried in federal district court on claims that included fraud and violation of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act. In February 2020, the California Daily Journal recognized the win as one of California’s top ten plaintiffs’ verdicts in 2019, evaluated based on impact.
