Merri Baldwin Named to Daily Journal’s Top Professional Responsibility Lawyers 2026 List

Rogers Joseph O’Donnell shareholder Merri A. Baldwin has been named to the Daily Journal’s 2026 Top Professional Responsibility Lawyers list. The annual honor recognizes leading California attorneys who handle legal malpractice and ethics matters. 

In the feature honoring award winners, Baldwin is recognized for building her professional responsibility practice for more than 35 years. Her work spans legal malpractice, state bar discipline, ethics counseling and expert witness testimony.

“I was always aware of the significant position lawyers held, and the importance of helping lawyers meet the high standards of conduct that we are all subject to,” Baldwin told the Daily Journal. 

Baldwin is co-chair of RJO’s Attorney Liability and Conduct Practice Group and a member of the Complex Commercial Litigation Practice Group. She is a certified specialist in legal malpractice law, accredited by the California Board of Legal Specialization. Baldwin is co-chair of the California Lawyers Association Legal Ethics Committee and is a past chair and member of the State Bar of California Committee on Professional Responsibility and Conduct. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers.
