RJO Assists in Government Contracts Industry Amicus Brief before Fourth Circuit

On November 21, 2017, the Professional Services Council (PSC) and the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) filed an amicus curiae brief before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit in the In re KBR Burn Pit battlefield contractor litigation.  The amicus brief supports affirmance of the federal trial court’s dismissal and addresses the important national defense interests involved when contractors provide critical war-zone support services.  Lisa Norrett Himes of Rogers Joseph O’Donnell served as co-counsel on the brief with Lawrence S. Ebner of Capital Appellate Advocacy PLLC and Alan Chvotkin, PSC’s Executive Vice President and Counsel.
