Robert Metzger Presents on CMMC at Deltek ProjectCon
Rogers Joseph O’Donnell PC Cybersecurity and Privacy practice group chair Robert S. Metzger presented on the recently finalized U.S. Department of Defense’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) rule at Deltek ProjectCon, which took place from Nov. 12 – 14 at the Gaylord National in Washington, D.C.
Metzger’s session, “CMMC is launched: What Now? Then What?” addressed the legal and business ramifications of CMMC for contractors and civilian agencies, and examined strategies for timely and affordable compliance. Metzger authored a blog post on CMMC for Deltek in October.
Metzger’s work, including his contributions to a Defense Science Board cyber/supply chain task force and as a co-author of MITRE’s “Deliver Uncompromised” report, has helped shape government contracting cyber and supply chain security policies. He is a respected cybersecurity lawyer for government contractors and has represented leading corporations such as Microsoft and others among the top 20 aerospace and defense companies in their highest-profile cybersecurity, national security, contracts, disputes, compliance audits and bid protests.
