Robert Metzger to Speak at 2023 mWise Cybersecurity Conference

RJO is excited to announce that our Washington, D.C., office chair, Robert Metzger, will speak about emerging due diligence considerations for technology transactions at the 2023 mWise Conference on September 18.  Bob is a nationally recognized lawyer in cyber and supply chain security with past experience on the Defense Science Board Cyber Supply Chain study and as a MITRE consultant.

Bob will join American Bar Association Information Security Committee chair Michael Aisenberg as a panelist for “A New Due Diligence? How ICT Supply Chain Security is Changing the Rules for Contracting.” They will discuss how supply chain risks have expanded to encompass cyber as well as physical risks and how AI-enabled risks assessment tools are essential to understanding and mitigating such risks.  Bob and Michael will explore why today’s security professionals must take the lead in identifying new areas of exposure and working with acquisition and legal personnel to modernize due diligence and to extend supply chain diligence throughout contract performance.
