Rogers Joseph O’Donnell Names Joseph McGowan as Co-Chair of Construction Practice Group

Rogers Joseph O’Donnell PC has named shareholder Joseph C. McGowan as co-chair of the firm’s Construction Practice Group. 

“We are pleased to elevate Joe to this position at the firm,” said founding shareholder Neil H. O’Donnell. “He has decades of experience in construction law and is consistently driving new ideas at the firm. Joe is an ideal leader for the practice group.”

McGowan will co-chair the group alongside shareholder Aaron P. Silberman. Shareholder Mark. J. Linderman, who has served as co-chair for more than 10 years, will be stepping down from the role. 

“I’m looking forward to maintaining and further building RJO’s Construction Practice Group,” McGowan said. “This is a strong practice with a deep bench serving leading clients across the country.” 

McGowan has practiced construction law for more than 31 years, focusing his practice on public works, government contracts, suretyship and construction-related real property disputes. He has extensive experience with bench trials, jury trials and arbitration. McGowan, who speaks Spanish, Japanese and French, began his career working as an in-house attorney for a subsidiary of Kajima Corp., a major Japanese-owned civil contractor.
