Stephen Bacon Appointed to the Howard County Chamber of Commerce’s GovConnects Advisory Council

RJO shareholder Stephen Bacon has been appointed to the Howard County Chamber of Commerce’s GovConnects Advisory Council.

The 13-member advisory council helps the Maryland-based group and its board of directors vet, structure and administer the chamber’s GovConnects program for local federal government contractors. GovConnects helps county-area contractors grow their businesses and develop key government contacts through networking opportunities, educational initiatives and events.

Bacon joins a distinguished group of representatives from government contracting firms, academia, government agencies and not-for-profit organizations in shepherding the Chamber’s government contracting relationships and programs.

“It’s rewarding to have the opportunity to leverage my passions for federal contracting issues to help local businesses learn more about and grow in this complex sector,” Bacon said. “I’m grateful to the Howard County Chamber of Commerce for inviting me to participate and support their networking, advocacy and educational initiatives.”
