Aaron Silberman to Present on Impacts of Federal Policy Changes on California Construction at AGCC Committee Meeting
Rogers Joseph O’Donnell PC Construction Practice Group co-chair and Government Contracts Practice Group member Aaron P. Silberman will present at the Associated General Contractors of California (AGCC) Legal Advisory Committee meeting on May 13 from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. PDT.
His presentation, “May You Contract In Interesting Times: Federally Funded Construction Under Trump 2.0” will discuss several of President Donald Trump’s executive orders during the first 100 days of his second term, and analyze their impact on California construction. Silberman will also examine the implications of the Administration’s trade, social, environmental and immigration policies for the California construction industry.
Silberman focuses his practice on government contracts and construction law, including litigation, representing contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and design professionals in the construction, defense, transportation, technology, healthcare, disaster relief, telecom and service industries. He has been an AGCC and Legal Advisory Committee (LAC) member since 1999. Silberman is a former chair of the LAC and a former member of its Amicus Subcommittee, and he is a former chair and board member of the AGCC’s Bay Bridges District Board of Directors and a member of its Legislative Committee. In addition, Silberman has authored articles for the AGCC’s California Constructor magazine, written legal advisories to AGCC members and authored the AGCC’s amicus brief to the California Supreme Court on abandonment claims in Amelco Electric v. City of Thousand Oaks.
