Construction Litigator Josh Maltzer Joins Rogers Joseph O’Donnell
Rogers Joseph O’Donnell is pleased to welcome construction litigator Josh A. Maltzer to the firm’s Construction practice group as of counsel. Based in the San Francisco office, Maltzer was previously a partner with Haight Brown & Bonesteel LLP.
Maltzer has more than a decade of experience litigating high-stakes construction, insurance coverage, commercial business disputes and product liability matters. He has represented contractors, business owners, property managers, developers, real estate buyers and public housing agencies.
“Josh is a welcome addition to our practice group and we are thrilled to have him join RJO,” said Aaron Silberman, co-chair of the firm’s Construction practice group. “He is widely respected for his construction litigation work and we know he will be an asset for both our clients and the firm.”
Leveraging his deep experience in all phases of dispute resolution, including pre-litigation mediation, settlement negotiations, arbitration and trial, Maltzer’s work has resulted in millions of dollars in insurance recoveries, judgments and settlements for his clients. He has tried cases in state and federal courts throughout California, Arizona, Washington and Wyoming.
“Having worked in construction litigation for many years I have come to know the talented lawyers at RJO, the clients they serve and the caliber of work they do,” said Maltzer. “As I planned the next stage of my career, RJO stood out as the perfect fit with the best team I could hope for. I’m looking forward to collaborating with this outstanding group of lawyers.”
Prior to his career in law, Maltzer served in AmeriCorps and managed disaster relief and prevention teams in Florida and Guatemala. He received his J.D. from the University of California College of the Law at San Francisco.
