Lauren Sujeeth and Josh Maltzer to Present on Domestic Procurement Laws for Associated General Contractors of California Webinar
Rogers Joseph O’Donnell PC shareholder Lauren Kramer Sujeeth and of counsel Joshua A. Maltzer will host a webinar discussing best practices for contractor compliance with U.S. domestic procurement laws for the Associated General Contractors of California (AGCC) on July 9 at 12 p.m. PST.
The webinar, “Domestic Procurement Laws: A Contractor’s Guide to Compliance,” will focus on the application of the Build America, Buy America Act, as well as the Trade Agreements Act, related to domestic procurement, exceptions and waivers, compliance training and best practices. Sujeeth and Maltzer will also discuss enforcement and penalties for violations.

Co-chair of RJO’s White-Collar Criminal Defense Practice Group, Sujeeth is a seasoned trial lawyer who has built a thriving career taking on tough, unusual cases. She represents companies and individuals facing regulatory investigations or state and federal criminal charges, and litigates on behalf of contractors at the federal, state and local levels. This includes protecting their interests during bid protests and when disputes arise. Sujeeth previously chaired the AGCC’s Legal Advisory Committee.
Maltzer is a member of RJO’s Construction and Government Contracts Practice Groups and has extensive experience representing contractors in a wide variety of construction claims and litigation. He is also a member of the steering committee for the American Bar Association’s Forum on Construction Law’s General Contractors Division. Maltzer lectures frequently on construction topics, including contract drafting, delay and disruption, cost claim preparation, change of law impacts, tariff mitigation and insurance recovery.
