Richard Harris Appointed to Board of AGC Bay Bridges District, RJO to Host Upcoming Board Meeting
Rogers Joseph O’Donnell P.C. shareholder Richard M. Harris has been appointed to the board of the Associated General Contractors of California’s Bay Bridges District. RJO Construction practice group co-chair Aaron P. Silberman, Harris and RJO will host the organization’s upcoming board meeting on Jan. 30 to kick off the year.
After serving on the board for more than a decade and as chair in 2014, Silberman stepped down from the board this year. Harris has been an alternate board member for Silberman since 2022 and will now take his place.
“I’m grateful to serve on the AGC of California Bay Bridges District board,” Harris said. “I look forward to deepening our firm’s ties with the local construction industry and hearing directly from AGC members about the issues they face.”
Silberman focuses his practice on construction and government contracts law, including litigation, representing contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and design professionals in the construction, defense, transportation, technology, disaster relief, telecom and service industries. Practicing since 1992, he is the former chair of the Forum on Construction Law’s Subcontractors and Suppliers Division and its Publications Committee and previously served on its Governing Committee.
Harris advises contractors during all phases of a dispute, from contract formation and claims disputes to arbitration and jury trials. He has significant experience working with contractors on public works, including heavy highway, road construction and commuter rail projects.
