RJO Expands White-Collar Bench With Senior Federal Prosecutor Gregory P. Rosen
Rogers Joseph O’Donnell, PC has welcomed Gregory P. Rosen as a shareholder in the firm’s D.C. office. He joins RJO’s nationally recognized White-Collar Criminal Defense and Government Contracts practice groups, bolstering the firm’s capacity to advise clients facing significant government scrutiny.
Rosen brings 15 years of prosecutorial experience, having handled thousands of criminal cases in both state and federal courts. Over the course of his distinguished government career, he developed a reputation as a battle-tested trial lawyer and trusted leader in managing complex, high-stakes investigations. Based on his record, Rosen was entrusted with supervising more than 1000 prosecutions connected with the January 6, 2021 breach and attack of the U.S. Capitol, the largest federal prosecution in American history. Rosen has also managed and tried fraud and embezzlement cases, as well as complex violent crimes, including conspiracies, kidnappings, narcotics trafficking and murder.
“Greg has overseen hundreds of trials and supervised hundreds of prosecutors, giving him a unique understanding of how government agencies build and pursue cases,” the head of RJO’s D.C. office Stephen Bacon said. “We’re thrilled to have him onboard and confident that he’ll deliver exceptional results for our clients.”
Rosen has worked closely with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies throughout his career, successfully developing cases from the onset of an investigation to the conclusion of trial. He helped drive the legal and practical strategy for each prosecution, drawing on his extensive experience to assess and manage litigation risk.
“Greg has the investigative instincts, commanding courtroom presence and poise under pressure that are essential to resolving the sensitive, high-stakes matters we handle for individuals and corporations,” RJO shareholder and white-collar practice co-chair Lauren Kramer Sujeeth said.
Rosen will represent clients in criminal and regulatory matters involving the False Claims Act, particularly in the field of government contracts, procurement and federal fund recipient fraud, and complex, high-stakes financial, regulatory, and violent crime investigations.
“RJO has built an exceptional white-collar practice that truly understands the stakes for clients facing criminal charges or enforcement actions,” Rosen said. “I’m excited to join a team that shares my commitment to ensuring that each client is afforded maximal due process and zealously protected during criminal or regulatory scrutiny.”
RJO’s white-collar and government investigations teams are known for handling some of the most novel and challenging matters in the field, including defending major global corporations in antitrust and securities investigations, high-level executives in complex financial fraud and criminal investigations, and individuals in regulatory probes by the Department of Justice, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and other federal and state agencies.
