December 12, 2024

Rogers Joseph O’Donnell PC shareholder Stephen L. Bacon will participate in a panel discussion on termination for convenience claims at a Dec. 18 event in Washington, D.C., hosted by the ABA’s Public Contract Law Contract Claims and Dispute Resolution Committee.

Attendees at this in-person and virtual event will also hear from the panelists about commonly litigated issues, the best use of accounting experts and case law developments from recent months. The discussion will touch on unique considerations for terminations under different types of contracts and how contractors can maximize their recovery.

Bacon represents government contractors in bid protests, claims, investigations, and suspension and debarment proceedings. He frequently litigates cases at the Court of Federal Claims, the Government Accountability Office, the Boards of Contract Appeals, and the Small Business Administration’s Office of Hearings and Appeals. Bacon also provides advice and counsel to clients on a broad range of contractual and regulatory compliance issues that confront government contractors, including terminations for convenience.

The event will be held on Dec. 18 online and in the offices of Seyfarth Shaw LLP at 975 F Street NW, Washington, D.C. The panel begins at 12:00 p.m. Eastern.
