Rogers Joseph O’Donnell P.C. Construction Practice Group co-chair Aaron P. Silberman and of counsel Josh A. Maltzer will attend the American Bar Association (ABA) Forum on Construction Law 2026 Annual Conference on May 6-9 in Chicago, Illinois.
In honor of the Forum’s 50th Anniversary, the theme of this year’s conference is “Lessons Learned from the Last 50 Years of Construction Law.” It will feature in-depth discussions on project execution and claims management from past, current and future leaders of the construction bar.
Silberman focuses his practice on government contracts and construction law, representing contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and design professionals in the construction, defense, transportation, technology, healthcare, disaster relief, telecom and service industries. He is a member of the Forum on Construction’s Leadership Circle, a former member of the Governing Committee and former chair of its Subcontractors & Suppliers Division (Division 9) and Publications Committee. Silberman is also a national expert and the lead editor and contributing author of the 2025 Forum book, False Claims in Construction Contracts, Second Edition.
At the conference, Silberman will participate in planning meetings for the Forum’s Government Construction Division (Division 13) and Subcontractor & Suppliers Divisions and consult on future construction law publications.
Maltzer is a member of RJO’s Construction Practice Group and has extensive experience representing contractors in a wide variety of private and government construction claims and litigation. He is a Steering Committee member of the Forum on Construction Law’s General Contractors Division (Division 5), an active member of the Government Construction Division, and marketing liaison for the Forum’s mid-winter 2027 conference. Maltzer frequently lectures on construction topics, including cost claim preparation, change-of-law impacts, contract drafting, delay and disruption, regulatory compliance and insurance recovery.
During the conference, Maltzer will participate in planning meetings for Forum divisions and marketing. He is scheduled to present at the Forum’s Fall 2026 conference on prosecuting and defending claims involving supply chain disruption and cost escalation.
Members of the Forum on Construction Law represent all segments of the construction industry: owners, design professionals, general contractors, construction managers, subcontractors, suppliers, insurers and sureties. The Forum’s mission is to serve the construction industry through education and leadership while “Building the Best Construction Lawyers.”
