Nicole Russell Joins Rogers Joseph O’Donnell as an Associate
Rogers Joseph O’Donnell, PC, is pleased to welcome Nicole A. Russell as an associate in the firm’s San Francisco office. She will join the firm’s Complex Commercial Litigation, Construction and Government Contracts Practice Groups.
Russell represents clients in a wide range of complex matters. Her experience includes work on breach-of-fiduciary-duty claims, startup disputes, complex commercial litigation and other matters.
“We’re excited to be adding Nicole to our litigation team,” said founding shareholder Neil H. O’Donnell. “Her range of experience will be a valuable addition to the team.”
Russell has extensive experience leading dispositive motions, including drafting and arguing motions for summary judgment, motions to dismiss, demurrers and anti-SLAPP motions, resulting in multiple dismissals with prejudice. She has also conducted and defended depositions, drafted and managed complex discovery, and successfully negotiated settlements in high-stakes litigation matters.
“For my next career step, I was looking for a boutique firm that handles sophisticated, high-level matters with a collaborative team, and that is exactly RJO,” Russell said. “I’m excited to be a part of such a dynamic firm.”
Russell earned her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law and her B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley. In law school, she received a Dean’s Merit Scholarship, served as a research assistant, and was awarded a CALI Award for Transactional Skills. She also participated in the Business Law Society, Miami Law Women and First-Generation Law Association. In addition, she speaks intermediate Spanish and Persian.
