Professional Qualifications

Ms. Russell represents clients in a wide range of complex matters. As a fierce advocate and results-driven litigator, she provides clear, objective counsel and partners closely with clients. Her experience includes work on breach-of-fiduciary-duty claims, startup disputes, complex commercial litigation and other matters. She has also managed discovery, conducted depositions and overseen expert preparation, tailoring her approach to meet each client’s goals.

With a background that enables her to thoroughly support clients, Ms. Russell has extensive experience leading dispositive motions, including drafting and arguing motions for summary judgment, motions to dismiss, demurrers and anti-SLAPP motions, resulting in multiple dismissals with prejudice. She has also successfully negotiated settlements in high-stakes litigation matters. 

Ms. Russell earned her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law and her B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley. In law school, she received a Dean’s Merit Scholarship, served as a Research Assistant, and was awarded a CALI Award for Transactional Skills. She also participated in the Business Law Society, Miami Law Women, and First-Generation Law Association. In addition, she speaks intermediate Spanish and Persian.

Outside of the office, Ms. Russell enjoys reading, playing tennis, horseback riding and practicing yoga.
