Professional Qualifications
Mr. Scolari represents employers in a wide variety of employment matters. He has particular experience litigating claims for discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour violations.
Mr. Scolari litigates individual cases and class actions in state and federal court. He also represents clients before administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the National Labor Relations Board, the Department of Fair Employment and Housing, the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, and the California Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board.
Mr. Scolari also advises and counsels management on various aspects of the employment relationship, including complex wage and hour issues, leaves of absence, disability accommodation, and terminations. He regularly reviews and drafts employer policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
In addition to his employment practice, Mr. Scolari provides compliance advice regarding the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). He also litigates class actions under the TCPA, commercial disputes, and professional liability matters.
