Professional Qualifications
Ms. Lee has significant experience handling a variety of litigation matters involving attorney liability and conduct, white collar criminal defense, complex commercial litigation, and civil rights issues in state and federal courts. She represents lawyers and law firms in actions involving claims of malicious prosecution, fraud, breach of contract, and legal malpractice. She advises clients on ethics and professional responsibility issues, including conflicts of interest, and has lectured on those topics to lawyers and professional organizations. Ms. Lee was instrumental in the successful litigation of several precedent-setting cases, including one involving the use of the California anti-SLAPP statute in litigation against legal professionals and another involving the application of a California Senate Bill concerning Workers’ Compensation.
Ms. Lee also has experience in entertainment law and has handled contract negotiations with television networks and production companies, and advised clients on First Amendment issues.
